Housekeeping The cooking staff generally arrive around 8.00am each day, ready to cook you breakfast, squeeze you a juice, brew you a coffee. The housekeeping staff arrive at 09:00am to make up your room, and do general gardening and pool maintenance. We have a team of 10 staff, all of which wear a name badge to help you remember their name. Staff finish the day at about 5.00pm, but a cook can stay longer to assist you with dinner if requested. Laundry Each bedroom has a basket for you to place your laundry in. If you have delicate items, or there is a possibility of any items that may shrink or run, please advise our staff. They will ensure the maids wash to your instructions. If your garments have gone for washing in the morning they should be back to you by the next evening. If you need something in a hurry, again please advise the staff. Whilst every care will be taken with your clothes, we regret we can not take any responsibility for any items not washing up to your expectations. Communications Each telephone comes with Rp.100,000 credit. After this is used, if you require more credit you can purchase this from the Anyar Estate staff. As there is no land line at the villa, this hand phone is the only phone here and therefore not to leave the villa. It is our only emergency contact. Broadband Internet The villas have broadband wireless internet access. Network key codes will be supplied on arrival. Newspapers Every morning The Jakarta Post (English) will be delivered for your reading. Transport Anyar Transport service is just up the road, and one of our staff can arrange a car for you with just 30 minutes notice. The price is relatively cheap (about Rp. 30,000 into Seminyak) – and the car and driver can either wait for you (for a small fee) – or you can easily catch a taxi back. It’s best to catch one of the BlueBird taxis – as they are generally very clean, reliable and honest. In-House Entertaiment Villa Anyar is equipped to receive more than 50 international television channels with a home movie surround sound system incorporating a DVD player. Babysitting The Balinese adore children and are excellent babysitters. Just ask the staff to organise either a full time nanny or one or two of the day staff to stay on late for the occasions when you go out day or night. For evening babysitting the staff will require additional cost per hour for each member of staff which you pay direct to them. Massage If you require a massage from our local massage company, the Cendana Spa. Please advise the staff in advance. They will organise someone to come at the requested time.

Villa Anyar’s Cooking Service You can do your own food shopping or staff will organise for the shopping to be done for you. They can prepare many delicious Indonesian and Western cuisine’s, many of our guests like to have their dinners organised for them. The cooks are available for serving at the villa from morning till afternoon. Other choices for dinner include stoking up the BBQ, ordering in. Alternatively, there are 100’s of restaurants all within a 15 to 20 minute taxi ride, particularly along Jalan Legian and Jalan Oberoi.

The villa itself is on a block of 2,000 sq metres of which the house encompasses 450 sq metres. The location is surrounded by indigenous palm trees at the top of the rice terrace. The vista slopes gently down to a river. Within the compound the open plan ground floor opens out to a grand 15 metre x 6 metre swimming pool & Balinese gazebo. The surrounding gardens are tastefully planted and have ample lawns. All staff quarters are tucked away from the villa to ensure total privacy. The villa itself boasts three levels, the ground floor consisting of lounge area with stereo system. The two air conditioned bedrooms share a majestic outdoor bathroom. On the ground level there is also a new stainless steel BBQ and pool table for those of you who enjoy a game. The first floor contains the main living area with & home theatre surround sound system and LCD satellite TV. The lounge opens out onto a 15 metre terrace and has an adjoining fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar. This level also houses the third air conditioned bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The lounge also has a separate bathroom. A built in spiral staircase takes you to level two which is the fourth air conditioned bedroom. This room has satellite TV, an ensuite bathroom and 320 degree views which includes seven volcanoes and the ocean to Uluwatu. Please note the bedroom TV's only show programmes set by the master unit in the lounge.
