Depart your hotel around 7.30 am. for a two-hour scenic drive up to the central mountains. Trek with our local guides through the forests that fringe the caldera of lake Batur, high amongst the clouds, where the mists swirl down into the valley far down.

After approximately two and a half hours downhill trekking, we will arrive at the village of Abang, where villagers grow cabbages, chilli peppers, and onions for sale in Bali's central markets.

At the edge of the lake your wooden dugout canoes await, and after a safety briefing (life jackets will be provided) set out on a 45-minute paddle across the lake to the Natural Hot Springs at Toya Bungkah. (Minimum 3 persons plus guide per double canoe). A set menu lunch awaits you at the hot springs, and there will be time to relax in the hot springs before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.
