| We completely enjoyed our stay ar the Ritz. The staff and the grounds were both wonderful. They really go the extra mile. only draw back would be that the beach is not easily accessible. Hotel will shuttle you there, but you are your own on the steep stairs. The beach is nice, quiet & private once you have completed the journey to get there, though. We definitely plan on returning to Bali! |

| Puri Bambu is still as good as 5 years ago. Nevertheless, the superior room we got 5 years ago (near to the breakfast room) was better than the sup room we got this time (near to the kitchen and the reception). Only one very very small cupboard and Breakfast good. Pool good. |

| I stayed in the keraton bali in December 03. The location ( clode to Kuta, walking distance to supermarket , ATM, and tourist Warung) and the setting made this hotel the best place to relax and undwind while it offers a good range of facilities ( including a spa). Frankly quite a little paradise!!!
Please bear in mind all the cottages are set in a lush tropical garden and this mean some of the rooms will be quite dark as the vegetation will obscure the window. But nethertheless, the room are reasonably big, clean and the bathroom contain the necessary array of free toilettries we all love to take home at the end of our stay.
Now for the bad point:
The room service food is frankly appalling ( no exageration!!!) the food in the restaurant is nothing to bragg about especially when they charge twice as much as the Warung next door on the beach where the food IS amazing, tasty and fresh ( the fish are usually caught the same day)!!!
Also beware that while the beach is very nice, the water is filthy and littered with plastic bags. No jelly fish encountered though, but give it a couple of year and the pollution will remedy to that.
Finally, and this can be construde as either a criticism or a compliment, some of the staff are can be over attentive. while some will like it , female travellers, such as I, might not.
