Nusa Dua – Bali, June 2006… Nikko Bali Resort & Spa in conjunction with Bridal House Tutu from Japan are delighted to announce that an exclusive cliff top wedding chapel is currently under construction at the resort.

Capturing a sweeping 180 degree view of ocean scenery, this magnificent spilt-level glass structure will provide an intimate setting for couples to exchange wedding and commitment vows. Bathed in natural sunlight, the chapel is a statement in contemporary design and personifies the vibrant ambiance of tropical Bali.

Named WIWAHA, which means marriage that normally used by the royal family in ancient Sanskrit, the chapel will have an indoor capacity to accommodate 30 seated guests for a formal wedding service and 50 guests for a standing cocktail style reception. There will also be ample outdoor space of a grassed terrace and Balinese gateway for more traditional photo opportunities.

WIWAHA will provide one of the most romantic backdrops in Bali for couples to celebrate their unity as husband and wife in front of an audience of friends, family and loved ones. It will complement all of the other facilities available at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa and help promote the island of Bali as an idyllic wedding and honeymoon destination.

Due for completion at the end of August 2006, WIWAHA will stand perched over the crystal waters of the Indian Ocean as a dedication to the spirit of love.
