Banten Province is one of the 32 provinces in Indonesia. The Capital City of Banten Province is Serang. There are four regencies, namely Serang, Lebak, Pandeglang, Tangerang. In the 16th century, Banten was a princely state of great wealth and splendour occupying the northern region. It covers an area of 46,300 sq. km. The province’s capital: Serang borders the Java Sea and special territory of Jakarta to the north, the Province of West Java to the south and Sunda Strait to the west.
