Amidst the rapid world globalism, Bali keeps on sustaining its worthwhile traditional arts and culture which are definitely the inseparable elements of the indefatigable rituals. Balinese philosophy observes the values of harmonization for the people’s daily life. The Balinese Hindu religious life concept of ‘Tri Hita Karana’ (Three Causes for Happiness) set the harmonic relationship between human and God Almighty, the creator of universe; between human and another human; and also between human and nature, comprising other living creatures, which are not only limited to animals and plantation, but furthermore about the invisible creatures and spirits (Bhuta Kala) which survive among the virtual world of human being.

Balinese Hindus believe that the world harmonization can only be preserved under the Gold Almighty’s bless, thus a set of rituals or religious ceremonies is obliged to show gratitude upon the Master of The Universe. Within the ritual, they devote a holy sacrifice, comprising anything they have got. They honestly sacrifice animals and plantation for God Almighty in the religious ceremonies, in which they arranged the devotion in various artistic forms that cheering up the sacred temples where they devote. Starting up the rituals, they artistically “invite” God to bless their offerings and their life by various enchanting sacred dances, while also chanting up magnificent mantras – the exhilarating religious songs.

The unique Balinese arts and culture which were not only served for religious ceremonies, but widen to cover up other life’s aspects, then become such a worthwhile heritage that is being preserved up till now. The traditional society organization observes the ‘Banjar’ system, while customary law comes along the modern governmental rules, to regulate people’s daily life. Various new styles of Balinese arts do not change the essences of the worthy traditional wealth, but thoroughly they enrich the wide range collection of Balinese well-preserved fabulous heritages.
