There is a wide range daily newspapers distributed in Bali. The local, national and also the foreign newspapers are well circulated around this island.

Most of the daily newspapers are published in the Indonesian language, except for the two English language daily papers, The Jakarta Post and the Indonesian Observer, which are both published in Jakarta.

Daily newspapers are widely sold in newspaper stalls, bookstores and supermarkets. However, you also buy these papers from the guys who hang around at the traffic lights beside large road intersections.

Foreign newspapers are also available in some tourist areas, but they often don't appear until a day or two after the publication date.

Due to the current exchange rates, however, the Rupiah prices for these imported newspapers are fairly expensive.
