Of the restaurants in Candi Dasa area, Di Mahkota is the only one that offers gourmet and grilled food, which you can cook for yourself on the table. Its menu offers lots of specialties ranging from Indonesian food to western food.
It is also the best place to find a wide selection of breads and a range of cheeses and meats that are imported from the Netherlands. You can eat either inside or outside the restaurant on the terrace.
The terrace is nicely decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dinner. The seats inside the fully air-conditioned and elegant restaurant can accommodate up to 75 visitors.
There is a buffet, a la carte Western menu, and a set menu of Indonesian and European food. Western specialties include Frikandel special, and Wiener schnittzel.
The Dutch main dish costs Rp 60,000, the most expensive maincourse Indonesian food costs Rp 26,000, and breakfast ranges from Rp 30,000 to Rp 49,000. All kinds of cakes, cookies, snacks, breads and other sundries are also available in the cake shop next door to Di Mahkota.
