Batukaru, Tabanan
Located about 42 kms to the northwest direction of Denpasar, or about 21 kms to the north of Tabanan, Batukaru is a cold mountain virgin area. This area contains a big potency for agri-business and ecotourism development. The most highest land, that is Batukaru mount, about 2276 meters above sea level, is a spiritual area. In the slope of this mount, the most holiest temple -- the Batukaru Temple -- is situated nicely. There are many interesting objects for tourism in this area such as coffee plantation, rice paddy fields, the temple, the mount, and various plants and animals. So exploring this area by trekking is a wonderful experience.

Start Time
We will pick up in a little bit different time depend on your hotel location. If you are staying at Nusadua area, we will pick you up in time range of 07.15 - 07.30 am; Kuta at 07.30 - 07.45; and for Sanur and Ubud at 07.45 - 08.00.

Your Journey
For those who are staying at Nusadua, Sanur and Kuta, your journey to trekking location will pass Denpasar (the capital of Bali) then continue to Mengwi, Tabanan, Penebel and Batukaru. If you are staying in Ubud, your route will pass Sayan, Mambal, Penarungan, Mengwi, Tabanan, Penebel and Batukaru. We promise that your journey will not be boring, because the regions you are passing by have beautifully fascinating view. You can see rice terraces, traditional villages, mountains range, plantations, and much more. The same route will be used to back to your hotel.

About Your Trekking Region
The location of your Jungle Trekking in this time is including Baturiti district. Your trekking will focused to Batukaru area which is known as the mysterious heart of Bali. Rich of various flora and fauna, this virgin area will be maintained as it is for many reasons. Tourism and environment conservation are parts of the reasons. There are many old stranglers trees with colourful exotic wild orchids. A marvellous view await you when we walk from the finish point also watching magnificent part of Bali your trip complitely immerse by cool breeze blowing among the elegant. The circumstance is good, with fresh mountain air, and nice view. Taste the smell of wood in this place as well as the song of birds which are greeting you with their natural songs of joy. Forget all your problems for a while and let your mind take a rest and have an harmony with the nature around you.
You may take a rest anywhere you want in the middle your trekking session. Our guides will always watch you, from close or distance and to ensure that everything is alright on you. In the middle of your journey, you will have to take a rest for a while. You may drink and eat your lunch and fruits in this place, meanwhile the nice view stay around you and the sun shine breakthrough the trees in the wood.

Completing your tour
After completing your trekking session, our guide will take you back to your hotel. You will arrive at your hotel around 3.00 pm, depends on the location of your hotel.
